Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s already the middle of November! We have had a great fall so far. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant now; it has been going by so fast! The baby is moving around a lot—Ariel got to feel a kick too, which was pretty cool. Here are some photos from our last ultrasound:
Ariel is doing great! Her vocabulary is really taking off—seems like she learns something new every day! She is using lots of 3-5 word sentences now, counts to 13 with help, & loves singing songs.
She loves attending birthday parties, and we’ve had a lot this fall! Her friend, Malik, turned two in September. His party was at the park, and Ariel learned how to swing on the rings.
We went to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins for Halloween. My parents were able to join us, as they had the day off work. The pumpkin selection was scarce this year—bad year for pumpkins. We still had a good time though. Here are some photos:
Patrice visited for about a week in October; it was great seeing her, and Ariel was quite happy to receive her belated birthday present—a cute Mexican style dress & adorable pink guitar.
Patrice turned 27 this year; we celebrated her birthday during her visit at Janeen’s house. Ariel dressed up in her Halloween costume for the occasion—she was a scarecrow. Here are some photos from the birthday party:
We also celebrated Angie’s birthday in October here at our house—she turned 31 this year. It was nice having the family all together. Here are some photos:
We had a blast for Halloween this year, as Ariel was so excited to go trick-or-treating. We had the grandparents & Angie over for the occasion, and we took Ariel down our street. She was so proud to say “Trick-or-Treat” to the neighbors; sometimes she forgot what to say & said “Ding Dong” instead since we had practiced to ring the bell first. :) Here are some photos:
We also bought a tree for the baby this month & finally got it planted earlier this month. Ariel was proud to help Daddy plant it. Here are some photos:
Two little boys in our playgroup, Daniel & Brady, turned two this month too. Ariel had a lot of fun at the birthday parties; she is able to say “Happy Birthday” now & sing along to the song with everyone.
We’ve had a lot of fun with the Idaho Moms’ Network this fall doing a variety of activities from collecting leaves to painting pumpkins. Ariel really enjoys participating, and it’s been great for me too.
We’re looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving this month & all the festivities that will come with winter too. So, there will be another update & more photos coming next month. Hope you are all doing well!
